Most popular questions

Do you normally carry out a site visit?
Yes, a site visit is necessary to assess the piling requirements of the job and any individual needs that may have to be taken into consideration

How long does it take to install mini piles?
We can typically complete a standard sized extension within 3 days, although to give job specific information get in contact and we will be able to give you more details information.

How do I know if I need piled foundations?
Once you have dug out for your foundation, your building inspector will inspect the footings and tell you whether or not it needs piling. If it does, then a structural engineer will design a job specific pile layout for your job. If you don’t have a structural engineer don’t worry as we have one in house!

The best way is to contact us directly, we are more than happy to advise you on which type of piling is most suitable and cost effective based on our previous experiences.

Do I need to be on site when the work commences?
No! As long as the site is set out and we can get access, there should be no issues. All of our equipment is powered from onboard of our van and any potential problems we will have been made aware of on our initial site visit.

Yes! We can handle the whole process from start to finish all from in house. Just let us know your requirements and we will be more than happy to assist you with your project.

Although we do appreciate that piling is often not a factored cost when you started your extension or house build, we advise that you take the upmost care when choosing which piling contractor to go with, there are a lot of “here today, gone tomorrow” contractors out there cutting corners and even trading without insurance!
