Hiring Piling Services In 2022

By 16/08/2022June 13th, 2023No Comments

Did you know that piling is likely to have supported the majority of buildings you have visited in your lifetime? It is an essential technique used to ensure solid foundations and to eliminate any risk of subsidence or damage to the building in certain conditions. At Rhino Piling, our team of experts carries out a full on-site evaluation of the land surrounding your desired project in order to assess its suitability for our services.

The Process

Piling involves the design, supply, and installation of vertical piles into the ground that’ll become the load-bearing columns of the foundations of the new building. Piles are put into place when the conditions of the ground are below standard and evenly distributes the weight of the structure above it.

However, not every project is the same. A project can quickly become complex due to the type of building, soil, or surrounding land. Sometimes it’s challenging to insert piles due to weather conditions, and some locations could require extensive work on the soil and surrounding area, resulting in increased costs.

The Cost

Due to the various processes that are needed on-site, the cost of piling services can vary dramatically. This will depend on the size of the construction, the weight of the finished building, the conditions of the soil, and the local weather.

There is no set cost for piling. The cost usually depends on the size of the job that needs to be done, this is why we begin every new project with our full on-site evaluation.

We offer two types of services at Rhino Piling. They are:

Residential Piling:

Mini piling is a method of creating a foundation for any type of structure in a ground condition no matter how unsuitable, using different methods like screwing or driving the piles into the ground and then filling them with concrete in order to form piles.

Underpinning:

Underpinning is the method of transferring the load of a structure that shows signs of subsidence or sinking. Underpinning uses mini piles – smaller, slimmer piles that are easier to install in confined spaces – to reinforce and repair existing piles or foundations.
