Today, the piling team of Sam and Harry made the 60-mile journey south to the Longslow area of Market Drayton in North Shropshire to continue piling on the 3rd plot of 3 new build houses.

It was 3° Celcius, and the piles drove between 6 and 10 metres due to peat. If you’re not sure, peat is a separated soil material consisting mainly of plant remains in various degrees of decomposition, and it’s essential we pile through it and reach good strata.

Our client, Shingler Homes, part of The Shingler Group, has used us before, and they like how Howard, our Operations Manager, gives them accurate timescales and keeps them updated on progress.

Come back to our blog soon to keep track of how the project is going, or check out this similar new build housing project that also involved pesky peat in the meantime!
